Hong Kong rice rolls, also known as "cheung fun," are a popular Cantonese dish made from rice flour batter.  These rolls are often served with a savoury soy sauce or hoisin-based sauce, and sometimes topped with sesame seeds or scallions for added flavour. Hong Kong rice rolls are beloved for their soft texture and versatility, making them a staple in dim sum restaurants and street food stalls alike.

Ingredients: Water, High amylose rice flour, Modified potato starch, Modified tapioca starch, Wheat starch, Canola oil, Sodium propionate, Monoglyceride, Potassium sorbate, Xanthan gum.

Cooler / 11 days

Microwave: 

  1. Pierce the film lid.
  2. Cut them in pieces.
  3. Cover a wet paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve with your favourite sauces.

Steam:

  1. Pierce the film lid.
  2. Cut them in pieces
  3. Steam for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve with your favourite sauces.

Pan-fry:

  1. Pierce the film lid.
  2. Cut them in pieces.
  3. Add oil to the pan and heat up.
  4. Pan-fry for 3 minutes each side.
  5. Serve with your favourite sauces.
