*Before cooking, rinse Hon's Chow Mein noodles in warm water and drain thoroughly.
Simple Stir-Fry:Â
Preheat wok or large frying pan on medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp oil. Add Hon's Chow Mein Noodles and 1/4 cup oyster, soy, hoisin or other stir-fry sauce; cook until heated through.
Classic Stir-Fry:Â
Thinly slice or chop 1 lb. of meat or firm tofu plus 4 cups of your favourite vegetables (i.e. carrots, broccoli, celery, mushrooms, bean sprouts, peas, green beans, and/or cabbage).
Preheat wok or large frying pan on medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp oil. Cook meat until done; set aside. Stir-fry vegetables. Add meat plus 1/4 cup oyster, soy, hoisin or other stir-fry sauce. Stir until blended and well heated. Add Hon's Chow Mein Noodles. Mix well and serve.
Crispy Pan-Fry:
Add 2 tbsp oil to pan. Add Hon's Chow Mein Noodles. Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Flip noodles and cook 2 more minutes. Remove to serving plate. Prepare meat and vegetables with sauce as in Classic Stir-Fry, above. Top noodles with meat, vegetables and sauce mixture. Serve.
Noodles Soup:Â
Heat broth or soup of your choice. Add your favourite meat, vegetables or tofu and heat until done. Add Hon's Chow Mein Noodles and serve.
